About Amy Nicholson
Amy Nicholson is a critic and playwright whose interests include hot dogs, standard poodles, Bruce Willis and comedies about the utter futility of existence. She is the editor of Boxoffice Magazine, film editor of the Inland Empire Weekly, film critic for LA City Beat, and a member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and has screened submissions for Sundance, AFI, and the Los Angeles Film Festival. In addition, she is a theater critic for the LA Weekly and member of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. Her range of credits spans the Los Angeles Times and Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul IV, and she holds a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Professional Writing from USC.
